Lesson Learned
If your ‘service engine light’, or ‘check engine light’ comes on in your car, don’t take it to the dealership, who will charge you $100 to check what the codes are. Instead take it to your local O’Reilly’s auto parts store – they will check the codes for FREE!
FYI…these codes tell you what needs to be corrected on your car. The dealership also wanted $400 to fix my problem. Instead, the part cost me $200 at O’Reilly’s and I replaced it myself by removing two screws. The dealership wanted $200 just for taking out 2 screws! Agh!
